Position Summary
Recognition Media is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Central Marketing Team. If you’re an energetic lifecycle marketer who loves to bring order to chaos, solve fun problems, and make a real impact on business growth, we want to hear from you. As a key member of the team, you will own the management and evolution of our email marketing programs and calendar across Recognition Media award brands to generate new and repeat entrants.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and have past email marketing experience. This is a full-time, hybrid role in our NYC Flatiron office, reporting to our Director of Retention.

Responsibilities
– Manage and coach a team of two email developers who are responsible for building, testing, and scheduling campaigns.
– Become our email subject matter expert, ensuring external-facing emails follow industry policies and best practices informed by regular A/B Testing.
– Partner with award program managers to support lifecycle content strategy development and implement best practices to reach business goals.
– Organize and update seasonal email communications for the awards including entrant emails, newsletters and event invitations.
– Map user journeys and define automation requirements in partnership with our Marketing Automation Specialist.
– Own reporting of key email metrics in both a centralized and award-specific capacity, regularly turning observed trends into actionable recommendations.
– Support Director of Retention in leading monthly Central Marketing insights readout meeting and performance recap.
– Collaborate with production team to create impactful graphics and assets for email communications.

Requirements
– 3+ years of lifecycle marketing experience, preferably in a startup environment or equivalent (B2B experience a plus)
– Strong understanding of modern ESPs and how email campaigns are developed and executed end-to-end
– Demonstrated project management skills and high comfort level with workflow software like Monday.com, Asana, Airtable, etc.
– High degree of comfort collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization
– Thinks critically to translate data and human insights into actionable marketing recommendations and/or hypotheses for colleagues
