We are looking for a Social Media Manager to coordinate all social media efforts across the AIVA, Telly Awards, and Signal Awards.

This is a full-time, hybrid role, in our NYC Flatiron office reporting to the Managing Director of the AIVA.

We are a hard-working team of storytellers, strategic marketers and community builders. We’re looking for a  culture-obsessed Social Media Manager to join our team and to bring their unique perspective to a diverse portfolio of awards.

Primary Responsibilities
– Develop, implement and own all aspects of a social media marketing strategy plan to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts 
– Create, edit, curate and manage all daily published social media content (images, video, written and audio) using existing and original content 
– Grow and manage social media partners to promote campaigns and initiatives
– Own reporting, analyzing and utilization of KPI’s to optimize content, including user engagement, audience growth, content performance, clicks, and ROI
– Act daily as the brand ambassador and the public voice of our brands; cultivate positive relationships with followers and engage in community activity
– Manage and develop on-brand social media marketing campaigns with engaging content across our social platforms, optimized for each audience and CTA
– Coordinate virtual events, leveraging social platforms to drive engagement
– Identify, curate and share relevant content from other media properties on our social platforms
– Develop and execute strategic plans for new social platforms when appropriate

– 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing or community management
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven brand storytelling ability a plus
– High comfort-level working autonomously with outstanding organizational skills
– The ability to think creatively about organic brand growth and implement unconventional, innovative campaigns and experiment with new tactics
– Active accounts and knowledge of best practices across key social media sites including, but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat
– A strong work ethic with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
– Experience with Content Management Platforms; some experience with cross-platform live streaming a plus 
– Working knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative suite, Figma, and/or Canva with the ability to create clear and engaging social graphics, motion and other design solutions
– Demonstrated interest in and understanding of current social media trends, news, memes, influencers, platforms and tools

– $75k annual salary
